"Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, 'Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!'” ~ Mark 9:24 (NKJV)
Jesus honored this father's faith as He immediately delivered his son from the powers of darkness.
It's possible to have doubt in your head and faith in your heart!
Jesus didn't ignore the man's acknowledged unbelief, but He acted upon his confession of faith. Is it possible that this desperate father was ultimately pleading, "Lord, I know that my mind has doubt, but my heart believes You! Will You help my heart of faith overcome my mind of doubts?"
One of the strategies of your enemy is to cause you to focus on the doubts in your head. In truth, your head, your psuche, cannot have faith. Your senses and reasonings are the guiding influences of your soul. Your mind won't believe unless it can see, hear, or feel.
The god of this world will design every scenario that he possibly can to keep you fixated on the problems and your deficiencies, rather than the promises of God and His provision of faith. The enemy endeavors to keep you strained because your head doubts; while, all the while, faith, even in the smallest measure is waiting in your heart to be activated.
Jesus said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20) God knows the limitations of your soul. He also knows the potential of your faith, even if it's as small as a seed of mustard.
Make a holy shift in your focus, today! Rather than letting the enemy mock you for doubts in your head, let God help you by the faith He has put into your heart! With our God, anything is possible!
