“For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.” ~ Philippians 2:13 (AMP)”
You may have failed but you're not a failure. Failure is an event that can be moved beyond. Whether it's a broken New Year's Resolution or you fell short with the agreed upon challenge with a friend. It could be your reaction to something that happened and later you wished you would have behaved better. Whatever the stumble or infraction, make your heart right with God and; if necessary, with others and move on. God's great plan continues! Endeavor to always see the bigger view. The Great Oak began so small and must overcome many obstacles and adversities before we enjoy it's full beauty.
Resist the discouragement of failure like you resist disease. Deny it's power to derail your dreams or abort your God-given desires. Always remember, you're not doing this alone! God Himself has promised to be with you, guide you and strengthen you if you'll trust Him. I encourage you to hide this Scripture in your heart. Make a draw upon it daily as you face adversity in your journey. God is Able, Willing and Faithful to do all that He's promised!
"Faith is the assurance of sonship, the pledge of inheritance, the grasp of boundless
possession, the perception of the invisible. Within thy faith there lies glory, even as
the oak sleeps within the acorn." ~ Charles H. Spurgeon
