Accident or Act of Brilliance?

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)

God is big!  Really Big!  He’s the One Who sits and sees from His unique place over eternity.  Because we can’t fully comprehend His view we attempt to bring Him down to a place that we can understand.  Included in the devastating results of such an attempt is this: to lessen God is to lessen His plans, purposes and power in our lives.  Don’t follow this deceptive and destructive trend.

University Professor and Author, Neil Postman, wrote:  “In the end, science does not provide the answers most of us require.  Its story of our origins and our end is, to say the least, unsatisfactory.  To the question, “How did it all begin?”, science answers, “Probably by an accident.”  To the question, “How will it all end?”, science answers, “Probably by an accident.”  And to many people, the accidental life is not worth living. (Science and the Story That We Need)

My friend, you are no accident!  You’re an act of Divine Brillance, created by the most intelligent, purposeful and powerful Being in all of eternity.  Even though you can’t always understand His plans and ways (Isaiah 55:8), trust Him.  Don’t allow your Enemy to reduce the value of your life and the importance of following God’s designed plan for your destiny. Don’t give place to this world’s skewed small view of of God.  Our God is big!  Really Big!  And…He’s Good!  Really Good!
