“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you." ~ Isaiah 60:1 (AMP)
The atmosphere that cities produce is enough to stir significant impression at the mention of their names. For example, Las Vegas or New York. Or, how about Rome or Paris? Each name causes a response of ideas, thoughts or maybe experiences.
What do people remember about their experience with you? In mentioning your name are people's thoughts peaceful and pleasant? Is your treatment of others glorifying to God?
In our broken world, meanness, selfishness, bitterness, and frustrations are at an all time high. Rather than allowing grief and worry, or selfishness to darken your light, why not resolve to shine the love and kindness of Jesus? Give. Speak. Do. Care.
He's the One that so wonderfully brightens your life; let Him cast hope, through you, to our hurting world. Shine His Life and Love, brightly!
